Stretching Test Animation - Bandit and Monk 2012

A test animation made for my major, TULKU. In this test I was exploring the "motion blur effect" that the characters have when they performed quick movements. Turned out quite successful. 

2D Animated Short - JOE 2012

The story follows Joe, a lone vigilante cat with a humanoid body, as he confronted the murderer of his adopted parents - the Raven.

IRAS Animation - Old Man 2011

A test animation project to animate the character performing 3 - 4 different emotions and reactions. Done for the Animation course at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore, 2011.

3D Robot Animation - CANDID 2011

A 3D animation made for my Animation First Year Diploma. The goal is to design a bipedal robot and in 20 seconds, animate it with its personality. 

Here is CANDID, a vintage camera with legs and like its name suggested, often took pictures of people when they're not photo-ready. 

First try on 3D animation and Maya and I'm quite happy with the result. Rigging was the biggest challenge, modelling was alright and texturing / animating was really fun !

2D Animated Short - Next Weekend 2010

My first short 2D animation, made 3 years ago as an entry for the Animation course.

The goal is to come up with a story, pick a small portion equivalent of 15 seconds of that story and animate it.

 Since it's the first animation I've ever properly made there are tons and tons of incomplete and things I didn't got right, I love the freedom that I had when I animated it. I wasn't concern of the 12 principles and timing was purely on intuition. This is probably the most flexible animation I've done in the past 3 years.
